Current methods used to study the microbiome often represent a trade-off between accuracy and cost. We are developing a simple and highly innovative solution to tackle this problem, known as the BioCapture® Technology. BioCapture® is a pill-sized device that will revolutionise sampling of the gut microbiome.

We envision that our BioCapture® Technology will benefit risk screening and aid diagnosis of health conditions that are linked to dysbiosis or microbial imbalances. Improved understanding of the impact of microbial shifts in the gut during disease progression will also aid efforts to restore a healthy gut microbiome and improve quality of life.
